I can't believe the twins are six months old! It is flying by, even though each day seems like there is never an end to work. I guess that is what makes time pass quickly - being busy. They are growing really fast too. Ethan is now 16 lbs 2 oz, and Spencer is 14 lbs 4 oz. They are not as big as my other kids were at six months because they started out early and small, but I am secretly glad they are smaller because I can enjoy the small baby stage for longer. They are also beginning to interact with each other more too, which is cute. In this picture we'd just gotten home from church, and I'd discovered that Spencer was running a fever. He went to the doctor the next day and had a double ear infection. This is why he in not smiling. Poor kid. Ethan was happy though.

Food Glorious Food
So we started giving Spencer and Ethan baby food. Spencer took to it a little better than Ethan at first. Maybe it's because he's had to take so many vitamins and medicines that he's used to different tastes. Anyway, I love it when babies start eating food. It's so fun to watch their faces as they discover new tastes, both bad and good.
Easter Dresses
Easter fun
Easter was pretty fun this year. Jeff's parents came to our house on Saturday to watch some soccer games, and then have dinner and an easter egg hunt. It was a lot of fun, and the weather was perfect. The following day the kids got lots of candy and were bouncing off the wall. For Easter dinner we actually had scones because my sister, who is a vegetarian, came for dinner. The kids loved the scones too. Poor Carter ended up throwing up in the night though. I guess candy and lots of scones don't make for a healthy day. Spencer and Ethan had to take turns wearing the beloved bunny outfit.
April Fun
For Spring Break, our kids got to get out and have fun. My mom and I actually took all of the kids to the local aquarium. This was my first outing with the babies. It went pretty well, although my mom and I had sore backs from carrying the babies the whole time. They weren't too keen on sitting in the stroller. Bummer for us. Anyway, it was a fun day. Later in the week the kids got to go the my in-laws cabin and go snowmobiling. The best part for them at the cabin was sliding down the roof into the piles of snow. We are grateful for parents who are so willing to entertain our kids.
