Halloween

Halloween was as fun as ever. It's always fun to see what the kids want to be for Halloween. I was lucky because for the most part, the kids decided to use stuff we already had.

Cornbelly's!

Once again we decided to go to the pumpkin patch at Thanksgiving Point. It's expensive, but it's more than just a pumpkin patch. We all had a lot of fun jumping, riding, running, and laughing together. It was fun to just get out and play.

Carter's toast face!

I love Carter's face after he eats toast. It always makes me smile.

Crazy Hair Day

In October the kids had fun dressing up for crazy hair day. They were all pretty proud of their creations.

Carving Pumpkins

As part of Spencer and Ethan's birthday, we carved pumpkins with Jeff's side of the family. It was a good way to get extra help with the pumpkin carving. Anyway, the kids all had fun until Carter threw up due to choking on a pumpkin seed. Life is always interesting at our house. Anyway, it was nice to do a little Halloween stuff. The babies also looked cute in the skeleton pjs they got for their birthday. One of the neatest parts of the night was having Grandma Heaton there with us. We were glad she could come for dinner and the party.

The Birthday Party

Spencer and Ethan enjoyed turning one. Following tradition, they both had their own little cakes to explore. Having only eating babyfood up until this time, they were pretty impressed and puzzled by the cake. It was cute. We had fun celebrating with both sets of Grandparents on different days. The second time they had cake, they were a little more sure of themselves. I guess it doesn't take long to learn that cake it good.

We're One!

They finally made it to a year! It's hard to believe that it has been that long. I believe that because each day is so long, that whole time seemed to pass fast. They are growing up to be such cute little guys. They are starting to develop personalities of their own, and right now they are very different from each other. Anyway, we made it. I remember thinking that if we could make it to a year things would be ok. Things are great, and even though things are not getting easier, they are fun. We sure love our little boys.

More Cabin Photos

The Cabin in the Fall

We were lucky to get one more cabin weekend in before the real snow hit. It was so beautiful up there, with the colored leaves and the scent of fall in the crisp, cool air. We enjoyed riding the four-wheelers, and just going on walks. We felt very blessed to be able to experience this. The kids has fun as always because they were free to play and eat as they wanted. Here are a few pictures of what we saw.

The Up House

So there is this house in a town near our's where a builder has recreated the house from the movie UP. It is a model home that is open to the public, so we decided to go see it before it sold and was no longer open to us. I must say that the builder did an amazing job. The kids loved seeing the things that were in the movie come to life. It's too bad that it will probably have to be repainted some day.
