Carter's surgery

Another thing that happened in November was Carter got surgery on his hand to repair a congenital trigger thumb. Basically he couldn't bend his thumb, so they opened the shaft that the tendon goes through so he could have full motion in his hand. It was a same day surgery, and Carter did remarkably well. The doctor's and nurses were impressed at how well he did. He hardly complained as he healed for a week after as well.

I had no Idea, November was a long time ago, and we didn't hear anything about this. So glad he did well, what a trooper.

I was so impressed with Carter. He was so brave and willing to have the surgery done. He is much happier now, about how well his hand works!
