Also in August, we went to the zoo for a short visit before letting some of the kids go with their Grandma Blair for a couple of days. The boys took a turn and then the girls took a turn of spending the night at the grandparent's house. Anyway, the zoo was fun while it lasted, but we got rained out pretty good. We did get to see a neat elephant show and bird program, so it was worth going.
